Back to Alaska Overtime Law

Employers in Alaska must provide their workers with a pay-stub each pay period that details the employee's hours worked, total earnings and the amount of money that was actually paid.

The pay stub must include the following:

  • Number of hours actually worked
  • The worker's rate of pay
  • Gross wages
  • Deductions for taxes
  • Additional authorized deductions
  • Dates on which the pay period began and ended
