Rest Breaks: Under Arkansas wage and hour law, breaks lasting less than 20 minutes are considered work, and therefore must be compensated by the employer. Employers are not required to give break or meal periods under federal or Arkansas wage and hour law.
Last Paychecks: Employees who are terminated must be paid their final wages within seven days of being fired. In all other circumstances, the final paycheck must be given on the next regular payday.
