Delaware Minimum Wage:
- The Delaware minimum wage is $7.25. This minimum wage became effective as of July 24, 2009.
- Effective Oct 1. 1996, the minimum wage for tipped employees is $2.23 per hour.
- In some cases, tip pooling is allowed in an amount no more than 15% of the actual tips received.
- Except when required by Delaware wage and hour law, tips cannot be kept by the employer.
Delaware Overtime Law:
- Delaware does not have state laws regarding overtime. Delaware employers must comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
