Minimum Wage for Tipped Employees in Indiana
Back to Indiana Overtime Law
Tipped workers must receive at least the minimum wage when combining tips and the required base hourly wage of $2.13 per hour. If tips plus the direct wage does not equal the minimum wage, the employer must pay the difference. A tipped employee can be defined as any worker who customarily and regularly makes more than $30 per month in tips.
