Employees should receive an itemized statement of deductions with each paycheck. North Carolina wage and hour law does not require employers to list the pay rate or hours worked on the check stub.
Regarding final paychecks, the employer must pay the worker who was fired, laid off, or quit on the next regularly scheduled pay day. Employers are allowed to pay the worker before this date, but it is at their discretion. The employer has the right to wait until the regular payday to provide your last paycheck.
