Ohio Minimum Wage Law:
- The minimum wage in Ohio is $7.30 per hour.
- The Ohio minimum wage took effect on Jan. 1, 2009.
- The tipped minimum wage in Ohio is $3.65.
Ohio Overtime Law:
- Companies who make more than $150,000 must pay time-and-a-half compensation for hours actually worked in excess of 40 during a single workweek.
- Companies that make less than $150,000 are not required to pay overtime.
