Utah Wage and Hour Law: Final Wages
Utah Last Paycheck Laws
Back to Utah Overtime Law
If a worker quits or is fired or laid off, he or she should receive their last paycheck within 24 hours. If an employee resigns and does not have a contract for a definite period, he or she should receive their final paycheck by the next regularly scheduled payday. Last paycheck provisions under Utah wage and hour law may not apply to sales agents who earn commissions.
