Rest & Meal Breaks: According to Washington Wage and Hour Law, workers must be given a 10-minute rest break for each 4 hours worked.The break must be given no later than the end of the third hour of the shift. If an employee works five or more hours, they must be given a 30-minute meal break. The meal period must be given after the first two hours of the shift, but no later than five hours after the beginning of the shift.
Paydays: Washington employers must pay their workers at least once a month on regularly scheduled paydays.
Final Wages: Employees who quit or are fired must be paid by the next payday.
